RTG configured, deployed, optimized, and maintained network segregation, filtering, and security on network equipment as business requirements dictate. We managed network failover solutions, network device management solutions, network monitoring solutions. RTG IT Help Desk Staff provided an on-time response and essential support through an automated trouble ticketing system – “Remedy” to respond to service tickets submitted to an assigned queue.

(CDC) Support for Cloud Tools and Data Improvement Services for IT Data Modernization (Sub. - #75D30120C07367)

RTG develops and manages the cloud infrastructure to support scientific research, informatics, and public health programs of the CDC. Our support enables the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC) reduce redundancy, ensure data security, optimize technology investments, and driving compliance as well as systems interoperability. Our ‘Cloud Center of Excellence’ services and solutions include:

  • Data modernization.
  • Developing interoperable and portable environments that are ready for hybrid and multi-cloud implementations.
  • Legacy applications migration and the development of new user-friendly interfaces for existing applications.
  • Securing cloud assets by implementing policies and tools to protect virtualized IPs, applications and data, ensuring full compliance with all federal, HHS, CDC and, 508 policies.
  • Best practices documentation, training and knowledge transfer of IT systems, tools, and services.

(US Air Force) Facility Information Management/Information Technology Support (Sub. - #FA481917C2002)

RTG provided all management and labor resources essential to Facility Information Technology Management in supporting the 325th Medical Group (325MDG). Our System Analyst and Helpdesk Technician supported the networking architecture, performed the project work strictly adhering to all applicable DOD laws, regulations, Headquarters Air Force standards, base/installation instructions, and best commercial practices. RTG established and applied performance metrics to provide great insight into our performance when they align

to the desired outcomes of a contract and effectively measure the work, tasks, and activities required to meet those desired outcomes. Metrics will include quality, deliverable timeliness, schedule/cost performance, customer feedback, and ability to meet 325 MDG’s project objectives. We leverage our integrated program management team to streamline measurement and reporting and to provide real-time

visibility to the Government.

(CDC) Enhancement, Development, Maintenance, and Interoperability of Medical Coding Systems (RTP) Services (Sub. - #75D30121F12448)

  RTG provides planning, design, development, integration, and information management services to support the National Center for Health Statistics, Division of Vital Statistics (NCHS DVS). The scope of the project included the development and maintenance of the National Vital Statistics System (NVSS), principally the mortality demographics and medical coding, fetal death, and birth components.

  • Enhancement, Development, Maintenance, and interoperability of Medical Coding Systems.
  • AI and ML implementations used to: Speed up the development cycles; Managed complex digitization processes to reduce the need for manual task coders; Increased accuracy of data for the NVSS and associated medical components.
  • Support the national surveillance system, identifying trends, reporting, and developing data visualizations models for internal and external users.

(US NAVY) SPAWAR & NASA INFORMATION ASSURANCE (Sub.)

  RTG provided STIGs/Information Assurance Control in support of SPAWAR San Diego and Stennis Space Center, MS joint Littoral Battel Space Sensing (LBS) Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) program. All underwater vehicle was used by Navy Special Operations and Cyber Command. Through knowledge of Department of Defense’s IA Control Program, its associated Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and how to apply the DoD STIG to RHEL Linux & Windows 7 Pro systems our team:

  • Contributed to systemically improving security controls over information and information systems (as informed by both departmental and OIMT evaluations and assessments).
  • Provided security operations to monitor continuously the status of security infrastructure in a proactive nature.
  • Contributed to improving security controls over information and information systems within individual department/branch IT security programs and specific information systems.
  • Instrumental in assisting the PMO achieve Approval to Operate (ATO).

(US Air Force) IT Project Management and IT Systems Analysis Support (Yokota AB, Japan) (Sub. - #FA520920P0047)

  RTG provides all personnel and supervision necessary to perform Information Technology (IT) Project Management and IT Systems Analysis Support for the 374th Communications Squadron, Plans & Resources Flight (374 CS/SCX) at Yokota Air Base, Japan and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in Japan. Our support services include:

(CDC) FHIR-based API Implementation and Software Development to ease implementation and support testing of FHIR-based interoperability for NVSS (Sub. - #75D30122F15737)

  RTG supports the NCHS to collect, analyze, and disseminate these data to create the National’s official vital statistics - a critical component of the national health information system. As a technical partners, RTG helps to modernize the technology infrastructure of the United States vital statistics system by moving all states from outdated paper-based systems to web-based systems integrated with electronic health records and public health information systems, and by re-engineering the NCHS automated coding system:

  • Provide software maintenance and support for Software packages (Canary, VRDR Dot NET, VRDR Java, and VRDR.Messaging).
  • Provide all 57 jurisdictions with Connectathon12 and testing support, where information systems vendors/contractors can test the interoperability of their products/solutions in a structured environment with peer vendors, and NCHS developers.
  • New features development; O&M Maintenance of software code and documentation
  • Assistance to jurisdictions to implement FHIR-based exchange using the VRDR and Vital Records Messaging IG, and associated tools
  • Training and user support & Project Management

  RTG performed requirements analysis, requirements development, case development and documentation of the work, including requirements database management. Our efforts also helped sustain LOGFAC which is a Web-enabled application developed to support Operations and Logistics planning staffs at HQ Air Staff, Major Command (MAJCOM), Air Components and Unit levels.
